Our journey began with extensive research that uncovered a pressing issue. Many individuals faced hefty fees for replacing lost degrees, prompting us to seek a more affordable and secure solution. Led by passionate Founder and CEO Aimane Lahssini, we interviewed prominent schools, including AP Hogeschool Antwerpen, KdG, Odisee, Thomas Moore, PXL, HE2B (ISIS), HE Léonard de Vinci, and Erasmushogeschool Brussel, to gain valuable insights.

Collaborating with Dutch-Speaking Insitutions and Gathering Insights

To ensure the success of AcademicDB, we closely collaborated with higher education institutions and their dedicated secretarial staff. Through in-depth discussions and interviews, we gained a deep understanding of the challenges faced by these institutions in managing academic degrees. We specifically looked into the working of the LED (Leer en Ervaring Databank) and the issues it presented, addressing the frustrations of secretarial teams.

Erasmus University College played a crucial role during this phase, providing us with a platform to showcase our advancements and test our solution with their secretarial staff. Their support and feedback allowed us to fine-tune AcademicDB, making it more effective and user-friendly for educational institutions.
